According to Public Health – Seattle & King County, one King County resident has been diagnosed with E. coli bacteria linked to the nationwide outbreak traced to romaine lettuce from Salinas, California. The CDC announced the outbreak on November 22, one day after Missa Bay, LLC recalled its romaine products.

The CDC provides a timeline and map of this E. coli strain infection here, and describes E. coli symptoms here.
