Types of Brain Injuries & Symptoms
Traumatic brain injury, also known as intracranial injury, occurs when the brain is subjected to an impact or event which causes severe injury. TBI can result in many different ways including auto accidents, trucking accidents, bicycle accidents, falls in premises liability or nursing home cases, accidents from highway design, and medical negligence cases. Brain injuries are classified as mild, moderate, or severe depending on the location and extent of the injury.
Moderate to Severe Traumatic Brain Injury
Moderate to severe TBI may have more drastic symptoms, including but not limited to the following. Anyone experiencing these symptoms after an accident involving the head should seek medical assistance immediately.
